An elephant, roaring in frustration, is stuck in a tar surface, surrounded with contemporary trash, a scavenger crow on its back, also stuck. A skulls of another elephant that had been stuck in the past is embedded nearby. Concept is based on the La Brea Tar Pits in Los Angeles, CA.
