Statement
My work captures dynamic Australian landscapes in paintings that are colourful and radiate light, dynamic portraits, and gestural energetic drawings. Recently I have extended my oeuvre by exhibiting animation of her drawing process in an installation that included silhouettes and props.
I have a reverence for the nature and love of the outdoors, with a passion for the protecting the Australian unique environment. Residencies include, Hamilton Island, Bimblebox Nature Reserve and St Lawrence Wetlands.
I paint landscapes in a semi-Abstracted style, taking reference from memories and places that I have visited in the natural world. My distinctive personal style emanates joy and energy to express the spirit and atmosphere of the Australian bush and places closer to home.
