I walk the foreshore most mornings and am constantly inspired by the mangroves that are so important to our environment. They are a continual source of rediscovery for me. This piece, 'A Tangle of Mangroves', is drawing in mixed media. I used inks, coloured pencils, watercolour, and gouache and I was inspired by the confusion and mesh of the roots finding their source of nutrients in the muddy salty water
