Lucy Angrisano is a metalsmith and sculptor based in Rochester, NY. She will graduate from RIT in May 2026 with her BFA in Metals and Jewelry Design. She has exhibited work at The Yards Collective, Frank’s Chop Shop, Fashion Week of Rochester, and RIT’s Bevier Gallery. Her work “Shangles” was featured in CITY Magazine as part of their Fashion Week showcase. She completed the Yard’s Summer Residency in 2023 and the Penland School of Craft Work Study in 2025. She is currently at RIT developing a body of work for her senior show in the spring.
Statement
My practice as a metalsmith centers sculpture, installation and performance. I combine metal with glass, textiles, and lighting to explore inner strangeness and childlike wonder. Taking inspiration from both nature and storybook, my art seeks to invite the viewer in and make them think, feel, believe, or experience something new for themselves.
