In 2018 I was a business student just about to graduate as Master's in Supply Chain Management. I wasn't as happy as I would have liked to be so I turned my life around and moved back to my hometown Espoo (Finland), bought my first own apartment and decided to try abstract painting as a hobby.

It all started with countless hours of watching videos on acrylic pouring and alcohol inks. I was so addicted right away, and when I started painting, it felt like the best therapy I could imagine. I had an incredible urge to paint everyday and I was often loosing sleep when getting an inspiration flow just after going to bed at night.

I sold over 50 paintings, I got over 1000 new followers and more than 5000 likes on one of my photos during the first three months. In the beginning of 2018 I would have never guessed any of it!

In the beginning of 2019 I quit my job as an IT consultant and focused in art full time. Even after studying business for five years, this still felt like the best decision I had ever made. I’m so happy and fortunate to have found my passion and a form of expression, which I can make a living with. Nowadays I only feel myself when I can create something new.

So, I wanna thank you all who believed in me and gave me the courage to do something crazy and start painting, even with no art background nor any idea what I was getting myself into. And without the incredible power of social media, I would have never showed my work to anyone other than my friends and family. So thank you all strangers who have showed interest in my art.

Dare to do what you love, not what you are expected to do! Do more of what makes you happy! I feel like I have finally found myself and I’m happy in my own way. ❤️
