"Dizzy" is a class sample I made to demonstrate various types of improv quilt blocks for the series I teach at City College of San Francisco Extension: "Beginning Improv Quilting: Part 1 - Getting to the Top.”

Using mostly B&W pieces and scraps leftover from other projects, I demonstrate how to use a variety of improvisational block techniques to make a quilt. Over 100 different black & white fabric prints can be found in this quilt. My favorite part is the back where I puzzled together all the leftover sample and trial blocks into a until that floats on a seafood green sheet.
