My travels to Texas for my artist in residency experience could not have come at a better time of year. I was able to spend some time in the Hill Country where I was inspired every day by the Bluebonnets and the abundant wildlife. While I was painting a lovely landscape in Horseshoe Bay, near Marble Falls, I hunted with my camera and I had several visitors. I took a little bit of artistic license and imagined the antlers on the one who stayed the longest.
