Downtown Littleton holds a rich history, rooted in the gold rush era and the settlement of Richard Little, but its significance extends even further. It sits in the heart of Arapahoe County, once home to the Arapahoe Native American Tribe. Koco Collab, a well-respected local muralist collective, deeply connected with the building’s history and location. They felt that honoring the strength and spirit of Native American women on the wall was essential. The turquoise moon pays homage to the building’s iconic “blue door,” while the surrounding mountains and wildlife reflect the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains.
