Statement

Lisa's practice draws on sound, visual and experiential elements. She has a figurative aspect to her work focussed on the remote landscapes and often the North West of Scotland where she lives and this work is heavily influenced by the dramatic weather and wild landscape of the North West Highlands. There is also an ongoing abstract and conceptual aspect to her practice. In her recent travels, she has been observing rainforests and how they compare to the termperate rainforests of NW Scotland.
