Winner of the Linklaters Art Prize 2025 - 'My practice is about the fragility and erosion of forms and structures from the built environment and the natural world, which I explore in a fluctuating movement between order and disorder, formation and deformation, chance and intention. Watching Windows, partly inspired by the blur of passing landscapes seen from train windows, was created from a silkscreen printed in a simple grid formation over a painted background, each section providing a slightly different window onto a nebulous, glacial landscape. The grid structure can be seen as an attempt to contain the unruliness of nature, to give an illusory sense of order and control over elements that are essentially shifting and unstable.'
