Sarah Tombs (1961) is a sculptor, notably in steel and bronze, who studied at Wimbledon School of Art, 1981–4, Chelsea School of Art, 1984–5 and Royal College of Art, 1985–7, where she was awarded the Henry Moore Bursary. She was appointed artist-in-residence by British Steel in 1986 and by Nicholas Chamberlaine Comprehensive School in 1988, which had a commissioned sculpture installed.
