When melting snow cascades down the Rockies, it demands all your senses. The smell of damp moss anchors the deep colors of the forest as whitewater seeks level and falls from every chink and crevass in rough rock, creating a visual tapestry. But it's the sound you experience above all, the song of the snow transforming into waterfalls. In this piece, I painted sound and energy embraced by soft fir and tall pine and golden moss.
