At the Western edge of the Davis Mountains in Far West Texas, craggy Sawtooth Peak shimmers and glows in the light of the waning moon. Ranchland grass and brush roll to the flatland beneath the mountains.
This miniature pastel as detailed as the stubby stick of pigment allow, so every stroke of color had to count in this painting, which is smaller than my outstretched palm.
Matted to fit a 5" x 7" frame.
