This painting captures the enchanting beauty of the Harkness Memorial Park Rose Garden in full bloom. I was inspired to paint this scene during a plein air session with the Madison Art Society, surrounded by vibrant roses, lush greenery, and the peaceful backdrop of the Long Island Sound. My goal was to create a piece that invites the viewer to step into this timeless garden and experience its charm.
