MessageLinda Marino, a skilled fine artist and live event painter, employs oils and acrylics to craft vibrant scenes in an impressionist style. Her diverse portfolio spans landscapes, seascapes, figurative art, and still life, and she takes pleasure in producing customized pieces for her clients. Recently recognized as one of the leading live event painters in the New England region, Linda specializes in capturing the essence of special occasions like weddings, birthday parties, and corporate functions in real-time on canvas.
Linda’s professional career began in marketing and advertising after receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at Western New England University. For the past 30 years Linda continues to work on her fine art skills studying in Florence, Italy, as well as several other CT Universities and local art schools. Working in the education department at the New Britain Museum of American Art in New Britain, CT is where her love for art history and teaching art blossomed.
Linda’s work has won awards including Best Landscape and Honorable Mention in Wethersfield Academy for the Arts Juried Competition, Best in Show in Visual Art Exhibition with the Cheshire Art League, Honorable Mention in SOCCA Juried Exhibition.
For me, painting is a way of communicating, connecting with others and a never ending journey of discovering and exploring.
