I lead art retreats in Ireland, and the view back toward the Old Convent Studio from the water is one of my favorites. We see it from a different angle while painting, so I see some version of it every day. I always make a point of walking that loop at least once while I'm visiting. As the tide ebbs and flows, these salt marshes fill with water even as the sheep are out there grazing, but they don't seem bothered by it. This has become a ritual for me, because no matter how busy I am it always allows me some time to dream.
