Linda Niemeyer’s path to art has been shaped by a lifelong curiosity for color, texture, and creation. Trained in graphic design, she built a successful career as founder of Blue Sky Fibers, a natural fiber company serving the hand-knitting market. After selling the business, Niemeyer turned her focus fully to fine art, enrolling in The Atelier Studio Program of Fine Art in Minneapolis.

Her academic work centers on classical realism — primarily figurative and still life studies — while her personal studio practice explores the freedom and emotion of abstraction. Niemeyer approaches her work with a deep sense of wonder and gratitude, seeing each piece as part of an ongoing return to the creative spark that began long ago with a simple box of crayons.
