I've lost count of the number of trees I've painted. I love them. Sometimes majestic looking, sometimes showing tender new growth, and sometimes just trying to make a fashion statement, trees seem to be indicative of standing firm, standing tall, standing their ground and being strong. This painting is an original one of a kind painting created with acrylic paint, metallic paint and texture on a gallery wrapped canvas. The canvas depth is 1.5" and the edges have been painted black. Metallic gold and copper are in the tree foliage with a little bit of metallic gold on the ground. This piece is ready for frame-free hanging. If you prefer to do so, this painting can be framed. An archival UV-resistant, fine art gloss varnish has been applied to protect the surface of the painting. This abstract landscape painting features large trees standing tall on a hill with their metallic gold and copper splashes of color.
