Heat Wave

I was inspired to paint this after spending most of today outside working in the yard. There were no heat records being set and certainly it was not as hot as Louisiana, but the sun was beating down pretty good and the humidity was unrelenting. The lake is just wishful thinking. I would have loved to dive in once that yard work was finished. This 14" Wide x 11" High x .75" deep work of art is ready to ship and ready to hang. The painting is on canvas and mounted on a birch wood panel. The sides are painted black and the surfaces are coated with a UV resistant satin varnish.
