Linda studied in Sweden and graduated from the Florence Academy of Art. There she studied the method of the 19th-century French Academic oil painters, a school of classical art training run by Daniel Graves. She also studied computer graphics at Technical College Reykjavik with a Diploma as a multimedia specialist.
I paint to see the world more clearly and to meet myself anew.
My practice combines observation and idea sketches. Inspiration arises from my surroundings and the creative process itself. Working in oil, I create paintings and illustrations from sketches. Gathering fragments of memory, lived moments and imagined worlds, from past, current to future — each painting a way of pausing time and giving shape to thought.
