Inspired by light and shadow in my York Grape Lane studio, these paintings were made before our studio move to Walmgate quarter. In these, I explore the joy of colour, shape and mark-making from bouquets I set up in my favourite pots and vases.
All pieces are on canvas using acrylic, gouache and oil pastel, protected with matte varnish.
They are framed in a simple white obeche wood frame.
