A fine day - blissful Scotland - my brother got married to Alison at Crear. This view down at the beach towards Jura still inspires.
Shapes are cut into the paint with a palette knife, suggesting beach stones and pebbles. Hints of vermilion and sepia combine with soft blues going back in atmospheric perspective to far hills on the horizon.
