The sea has always intrigued me. I enjoy sitting on its edge on a warm sunny day with the waves kissing my feet. But as I pull back and see it in its entirety, the vastness can sometimes overwhelm me. I realize somewhere out there are distant shores, but they are beyond my reach. It reminded me that the things we engage with on a personal level can also seem so vast that we may not be able to see the distant shore. Maybe I was made to just enjoy the shore I’m on.
