Lee Gray Bio:

Lee Gray is a self-taught artist. Lee grew up in Western Mass.  She has had no formal training. Lee has been painting most of her life. Lee’s grandmother taught her about oil paint when she was very young. But Lee typically paints in Acrylic for faster drying time.

Lee was raised on the family farm. As a traditional large family, with frequent relatives as guests, Lee was often outdoors exploring with cousins and siblings. They would go to many hidden places were they usually would get into trouble or just have a lot of fun. Exploring the Frog Pond, hanging from the Apple Trees and shaking them to make the apples drop. Playing in the brook and making dams in the summer. Collecting Sap from the Maple Trees in the Spring and More. Most of Lee’s work reflects things that her cousins and Lee did in their adventures.

Lee’s paintings hope to bring Happiness to anyone who looks at them. She enjoys hearing what people have to say about her artwork.

Lee has been influenced by Grandma Moses, Charles Wysocki, & Jan Munro to name a few.
