This rosebush was growing beside the covered porch when I had the "MacOwan" house on W Washington St in Monticello, Indiana. I cut it down at least twice because I don't like thorny plants, but it kept coming back stronger, better, and more beautiful than before, so I had to give it its due, or dew in this case.
