MessageMinnesota artist, Leanne Hanson, paints vibrant, luminescent paintings of dynamic landscapes, nature and flowers. Art and the out doors have always been passion for Leanne. Her love of both started early in her life. Growing up in Duluth MN, Leanne spent hours exploring the natural beauty out her back door on the north shore of Lake Superior and gardening with her mother. Also, having a father as an artist and helped nurture the passion for Leanne's art. She took many art classes in high school and college. Two of her favorites were photography and watercolor painting.

Statement
My art is a visual story about our connections that create joy! I recreate that feeling through my art. It re-charges me and uplifts my spirit. I create these joyful paintings to share with you by using a painterly technique, vibrant, bold colors, and strong light. I want people viewing my paintings to "feel" the happiness and the wonderful memories. I am continually seeking and painting those uplifting experiences so I can feel the connection and pass it on. For me the outdoors and gardening is an endless well of joy and inspiration for my paintings. Sometimes just looking at a joyful painting you love, raises your spirit. If it makes you happy, calms or re-energizes you? That is my goal! We all need more positivity and relaxation in our busy lives!
