Laurie Blessen was born in Oakland, California. She received her BFA in Graphic Design at California College of the Arts in 1983 and went on to have a successful design business for over fifteen years. Art and design has been her life’s work for over forty years. She is a member of the cooperative Graphic Arts Workshop in San Francisco and was accepted into the California Society of Printmakers.
