Playtime In The Poppy Patch

Poppies are a pleasure to paint and I enjoy taking a lot of artistic license in my interpretation of them! The background in this piece has a lot of texture and colour with several phrases peeking through the layers. At the top left is the quote: "Season of Renewal~ Can words describe the fragrance of the very breath of spring?" And that was how I wanted this painting to feel.
