Inspiration: As with much of my work, there are multiple messages. In ancient times the Law of Moses required fringes on the borders of their garments. Every Jewish man wore a prayer shawl (Tallith) and each of the 4 corners had the tassels or fringes. This image celebrates the biblical story of the woman being immediately healed when she touched the fringe on Jesus’ robe. His heart is so full of goodness, the healing just flowed out of Him because of her faith. This image also rejoices in the resurrection and alludes to the head cloth that was rolled up and set aside in the tomb when Jesus rose from the dead. Luke 8:42b-48, John 20:7
