Only Rain In The Drain

Here in Fort Wayne, IN we have 3 rivers. The St. Joseph, St. Marys, and Maumee. The friends of the rivers is an organization that reminds us to help keep our drains clear of debris and garage. Many drains are now painted with beautiful murals by local artists. During the painting, we artists help educate homeowners about run off and keeping our drains clear of trash and debris. I met so many nice folks- we had some great conversations. I really wanted this mural to look like an old mosaic piece. One thing I didn't take into consideration was how long this would take me to paint all those individual squares ...hahaha. 5 days total, but it was so worth it! I love the end result and hope that this mural reminds people to help keep our rivers clean<3
