Kristin is an award winning contemporary impressionistic painter from St. Joseph, Michigan. known for capturing the essence of life through expressive brushwork and luminous color. A member of the US Coast Guard Artist Program, eight of her paintings are in its national collection. She has received numerous plein air awards including Best of Show Small Works at Paint Grand Traverse. She was a featured teacher at Plein Air Curacao in 2015. Many of her paintings reflect her love for sailing and gardening. Her work has appeared in American Art Collector, Plein Air Magazine, Traditional Home magazine, and is in many private and corporate collections.
Kristin’s paintings are available at Mackinac’s Little Gallery, on Mackinac Island, Art on Union in Traverse City and at her studio at the Box Factory for the Arts, in St. Joseph, MI.
