Statement
I make work about the journeys we take as it relates to human connection, empathy, individual worth, and adventure. I intend for my work to exist where people live, rest and reflect, and connect with one another.
While medium varies based on the project at hand, playfulness, color, and intuition are common threads. Curiosity drives my work and I see creating as a lifelong question.
My paintings often use nature as motifs and figure forms for such themes, but I also use textiles and knot tying in soft sculptures intended for domestic and public spaces.
