This piece was inspired by the beauty of Michigan’s upper peninsula coastlines. I could follow this emerald splendor to the end of the world. This artwork was created by torch fusing clear encaustic medium, white encaustic paint, oil pastels and then burnishing a digitally edited image taken off the Eastern Coast of Michigan’s upper peninsula.
