Krister Eide is a wildlife artist and naturalist whose work bridges the gap between field observation and expressive Western realism. Krister builds his paintings from the ground up through immersion in the natural world —documenting wildlife behavior and native ecology.
From the coastal biomes of the Pacific Northwest to the high alpine meadows of the Rocky Mountains, Krister’s work is driven by a singular mission: to tell the authentic, unfiltered stories of the animals and habitats he studies firsthand and to promote stories of conservation. When he isn’t at the easel in his studio, he can be observing wildlife, sketching in the backcountry, or leading workshops in wildlife observation and journaling.
