Statement
Artist Statement
Painting has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
I don’t begin with theories or fixed ideas. I begin by working. Drawing, painting, making mistakes, starting again. Over time, the image finds its own direction.
For me, the studio is a place of constant practice. Every painting teaches me something different, and every finished work becomes the starting point for the next one.
I have never been interested in repeating the same image or following trends. What keeps me painting is curiosity, the desire to continue learning and discovering new ways of seeing.
After more than thirty years, I still believe that painting is one of the most honest ways to understand both myself and the world around me.
