This ornate bench by comedian Joan Rivers was created for the Target Benchmarks Central Park project, sponsored by the department store Target to raise funds for the Central Park Conservancy in 2003. Regina Peruggi, then President of the Conservancy, purchased this bench at a benefit auction held on November 24, 2003. She later gave the bench to Kingsborough Community College, installing it outside the President's Office.
