This painting is a recollection of the look and feel the beach on a hot, bright, shimmery day. For this acrylic painting, I used a brayer roller and my hands. I love the rich ocean-y colors and the white sand beach with multi-colored flecks like sunshine dancing. The roller is good for laying down and picking up bits of paint, thus working nicely here to create those color flecks.
