Painting in layered acrylics, I create soulful portraits of animals and wild places. Realism with reverence, shaped by a life lived close to nature.
MessageStatement
I create realistic wildlife portraits that focus on presence. Working primarily in acrylic on canvas, I’m interested in the quiet intensity that emerges when an animal is seen as an individual rather than a symbol.
My work aims for realism, but always stays painterly. Backgrounds are intentionally understated, allowing space for intimacy and direct engagement. Each portrait is built with close attention to structure, expression, and mood, aiming to invite the viewer into a moment of meeting.
I’ve exhibited publicly since 2017, and my work is held in private collections across the United States.
