Ruach - the Breath of God or the Spirit of God. Ruach is known as the breath that animates a living being. Ruach is my newest creation, combining the work I have been doing on my animal skulls with the addition of the handmade glass eyes sculpted into the form prior to beadwork. I so loved having the gentle watchful eyes of Ramses gazing at me during my work, that I decided to try adding eyes to one of my skulls. I was a bit afraid of it looking creepy, but I believe I completely succeeded in creating yet another new series - that of my Watchful Eyes creations.
The symbol along the jaws is the Breathe symbol, and the forehead includes a series of tokens to the practice of yoga/meditation, including yin-yang, Ganesha and a hand-carved goddess stone.
