They’re light hearted pieces that are intended to look like birds but not specific species. Whimsical pleasing perhaps funny. A loose unrestricted play. Today I did two, this is the second as I sent the first one to my grandson as a birthday card.
It was not until the end of the day as other things kept intruding on my time but I had determined to paint and so I did!
Tomorrow on to something larger and more substantial. I’m listening to Ninth Street Women by Mary Gabriel about the women artist in New York in the early 20th century.
