ATLAS OF THE YEAR 9
Sojourner Maps to Being in the Right Place at the Right Time
When centered in the heart in the present moment, we are always in the right place at the right time. From the perspective of our heart we can orient ourselves to space and time. We can navigate the path of the true human being and creatively map our progress through the cycles of
life. We can find our true direction. I present this Atlas as path maps to our destination of fulfillment.
These paths map the cycles, which are universal and continuous. Each phase gives impetus to the next. What happens in the outer world happens in our bodies, in our lives and in what we do.
Atlas of the Year maps the four seasons and four directions into twelve parts. It is a compilation of correspondences and meanings of time and place, for the purpose of always
being in the right place at the right time. The four seasons unfold as a spiral rather than a circle because we evolve as life continues infinitely.
Each of the twelve maps is a collage that to me express the meaning of the time space essence. I hope that they will convey this meaning to you. I created each collage as a sanctuary to reside in beauty, a way to integrate myself with nature and the cosmos in the here and now.
Each map relates to numbers and their geometry, times of life, times of the day, ancestral celebration, astrological dates and keywords, Animal, Color, and Element. Parts of the collages are derived from previous artworks that in some way, whether abstract or literal, display the overall energy of the time and place of importance.
By way of elaboration each collage is accompanied with a drawing that includes symbols and notes about time space essence and the Jin Shin Jyutsu Safety Energy Locks as they relate to the number. Each also questions for you to ponder and journal about.
These universal principles can provide us with guidance in our daily life and direct us towards being in step with nature, in the right place at the right time. If we allow natural and cosmic forces to guide our behavior we utilize available sources of insight. We can better flow with the circumstances of life.
