I love the phrase, way finder. For me, a way finder is something that helps guide. This work has a bit of the things that guide me in my art and life. I often turn to poetry, music, and nature when I need to be rescued from the moment. Art making is a respite. I know the value of finding the way to another place, even if just for a moment, when I need it.
