Kate Miller is the artist and designer behind Elworthy Studio wallpaper and textiles. After more than ten years of creating designs based on her artwork, Kate's desire to offer something truly unique to clients inspired her to begin creating larger scale abstract paintings.

Kate also leans on her background as shamanic practitioner and guide to bring intuition and magic into her creative process, and healing energy into every piece she creates. She is deeply connected to the land and the non human (or more-than-human) beings we share this planet with. Her intention is to serve as a bridge between the human and more-than-human worlds through her art. Each piece that emerges is a visual conversation between Kate and the very much alive natural world, offering a path to connection with nature and access to the healing potential of that connection.

She lives in Half Moon Bay with her husband and elementary school daughter. When she isn't in the studio, Kate enjoys long hikes and beach walks, singing with her community song circle, and getting lost in fantasy novels.
