This is one of my series of paintings based on Australia as a theme and inspired by Dorothea Mackellar's poem "My Country". The painting evokes a mood of desolation and isolation, but also of resilience and survival and challenges the viewer to find beauty and meaning in a harsh and unforgiving environment.

The painting is framed and ready to hang. It comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity and will be registered on the National Registry of Australian Art and Artists.
