Nature and the environment are always excellent inspiration for painting either through the patterns, subject matter or colours one can see. Heritage Forest is an abstracted representation of forest trees in typical Australian heritage colours. I love these colours and just started painting stripes which evolved into abstracted trees. Although the artwork is painted in a landscape orientation to reflect trees, I actually also like it when hung in portrait orientation as one of the images shows. The choice is up to you.
