My initial idea or concept for this artwork was one of disruption. Our society is constantly changing and evolving. Disruption is all around us whether it be technological with the advent of social media and artificial intelligence or environmental with the increasing issues of global warming and availability of resources. Disruption is not necessarily negative but it does require society to adapt. I wanted a painting that whilst abstract and somewhat expressionist in nature also depicted elements of transformation and the need to internalise, accept and adapt to these disruptive influences.

The artwork is unframed, has wire and d-rings ready to hang, the sides are painted, it is signed on the back and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity. It is also registered on the National Registry of Australian Art and Artists. Photos showing framing are indicative only.
