Drinking a lot of tea creates a lot of tea trash. It also made me think about health in general and the issues I started to have with mine. I tried a couple other versions before I came to this: they were too simply painted or too simply drawn. I knew I wanted to evoke the body but how closely to depict anatomy or to abstract it has been my struggle. When I arrived at the idea of creating a printed texture, although I am not an actual printmaker, the rest fell into place.
