Inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe’s luxurious forms, the twisting abstraction echoes the nymph stretching and hides the guru instructing his class. Another class of self-appointed gurus are also obscured by the sinuous form. The experts here are peripheral, undercut from their more usual prominence in the waves generated by the nymph to fade into a background of diagrams, text and a variety of waving patterns.
