Drawing from the style, techniques and samples of art from a number of post impressionist painters (Gauguin, Matisse, Klimt, etc.), I was inspired to create this piece, a portrait of a mixed race woman who demonstrates elegance and grace amid a tapestry of colors, bold and bright as she is.
