My son has always loved turtles. Visiting the big island Hawaii at a time that turtles lines the beaches was such a treat for us. I set out to do a commission piece for him as part of my efforts in 2025 to try painting all kinds of different subjects. It took a long time to finish this as I got stuck on how to make it complete. Finally in the new year inspiration struck and I added ocean plants and a few fish.
